You will experience different kinds of emotions from shock – feelings of disbelief, depression, anger, guilt around the loss. What to expect when experiencing grief and loss:

Shock and denial is often the first response to loss. You may feel numb, empty, unable to accept what has happened and struggle to accept your loss.

You may experience feelings of guilt.
-
You may experience fear and worry.
-
You may notice changes to your physical health such as headaches, nausea, anxiety – experiencing tightness in chest, having a shortness of breath, feeling tired and fatigued. You may have notices changes in your appetite – suppressed appetite or hunger cravings (comfort eating).
-
