
DEPRESSION
Depression is when you experience a low mood and lose interest in activities that were pleasurable to you before. It can affect all areas of your life including family, relationships, friends, work etc. Often people who have been exposed to abuse, loss, or significant stress are likely to develop depression.
Signs and symptoms of Depression

• Inability to concentrate
• Crying
• Feelings of guilt or low self-worth
• Negative thoughts about the future
• Thoughts about death, self-harm, and suicide
• Disrupted sleep
• Changes in appetite or weight
• Feeling fatigued and low on energy
• Feeling irritable
• Physical pain – aches and pain, digestive problems.
It is important to note that symptoms can be different for everyone and can vary in severity.
