ANXIETY

Anxiety is often triggered at any point of an individual’s life and is particularly caused when a person is under extreme pressure or stress. When anxiety is experienced more frequently and intensely in different situations this is known as Generalised Anxiety.

Generalised anxiety disorder (GAD) is when you feel anxious and worried most of the time. Your worries are strong, consistent and impact your everyday life.

Someone experiencing generalised anxiety will feel anxious and worried most of the time, not just in stressful situations. You don’t worry about one specific thing. You worry about everything including family, work, health, relationships etc.
